As part of our ongoing improvement process to disburse funds faster, we’re giving the Zelle payment app a try! This app allows us to send funds faster than traditional ACH payments, and at a reduced cost. Our goal is to move payments from the 20th to the 10th of the month if this works well. That’s 10 days sooner!
If you’d like to particpate in the Zelle payments during our Beta testing, you’ll need to do a few things PRIOR to the 10th of this month:
- Set up Zelle payments with your bank, and let us know the email address you have associated with your account to make and receive payments. If you already have Zelle payments set up, just confirm your email address on your account before notifying us.
- Receive, make, and confirm a few test transactions.
- Provide feedback at the end of each month during the test period regarding whether this is an improvement for you over the previous methods of payment.
Beta participants will be using Zelle to replace BOTH the ACH and eCheck transactions.
If you don’t do anything, you’ll remain on the current program. But I will give you a heads up that the Quickbooks process recently changed and is now requiring a 10 day lead time instead of 5 to set up deposits. So for those on the current disbursement program, your payment processing date will remain on the 20th.
